Budo-Efo Injection Substation
A full rehabilitation of a working injection substation for IBEDC's Kwara Region. LIFAN restored the 11kV switchboard, the 33kV breaker mechanism and the transformer auxiliaries, re-roofed and rewired the control room, and rebuilt the yard around it.

Scope delivered
Rehabilitation of a 2 × 15MVA, 33/11kV injection substation: switchgear, transformer auxiliaries, control room and civil works.
11kV switchgear
- 8 Nos 11kV breaker panels serviced and terminated
- 500mm² single-core cable installed from the 15MVA transformer secondary to the 11kV indoor breaker
33kV yard
- 33kV breaker mechanism serviced and missing operating rod replaced
- Isolator gantry before the T1 breaker and lightning-arrester gantry repainted
- Breakers 1 and 2 repainted; channel irons on the feeder H-pole repainted
Transformer auxiliaries
- Transformer tap-changer control panels maintained and replaced indoors
Control room
- Complete re-roofing
- General renovation of distribution boards and isolators
- Complete re-wiring, with external night lighting
Civil works
- Switchyard cleared, including the section by the Feeder 1 station auxiliary
- Control-room surrounds and switchyard gravelled, with kerbs and concrete demarcation
- Entrance gate repainted and new bridges built at the main entrance
- Street-light poles and water tank repainted and repaired
